本片改编自柳溪小说《燕子李三传奇》，讲述的是二、三十年代，北京城著名的飞天大盗李三的传奇故事。李三自幼父母双亡，随师叔法晦禅师练有一手飞檐走壁的绝技，为找被恶霸卖掉的妻子金兰而来到北京，因生活所迫走上了劫富济贫的道路，成为贵人老爷们的心腹大患，也成为了穷苦人心目中的英雄好汉。却因为江湖义气，被所谓师兄张禄出卖被捕，在狱中李三被挑断脚筋，最后这位义盗惨死在官府的屠刀之下。。Love Island involves a group of contestants, referred to as Islanders, living in isolation from the outside world in a villa in Mallorca, constantly under video surveillance. On the first day, the Islanders ...。该剧的时代背景为1900年到1905年，讲述义兵的故事。虽然一直以来有很多以日据时期（1910~1945年）为背景的韩剧，但很少有以日据时期之前为背景的故事。该剧将讲述辛未洋扰（1871年）时期，乘坐军舰来到美国的一位少年以美军身份回到抛弃他的祖国朝鲜，驻扎在当地后所发生的故事。这位少年也将在朝鲜邂逅朝鲜的精神支柱：两班家的“小姐”并坠入爱河。。
